What is the impact of diet-microbe interactions to cardiometabolic health?

F.Rey Article

Host genetics modulates the development of metabolic disease and shapes the composition of the gut microbiota. Kreznar, Rey et al. demonstrate that the gut microbiota contributes to strain-specific susceptibility to dietinduced metabolic disease and identify links between microbial metabolism and
insulin secretion.

During Targeting Microbiota World Congress 2017, Prof. Federico Rey will present this study and the impact of diet-microbe interactions to cardiometabolic health.
